In 2000, Alexander graduated from the Military Medical Academy. His postgraduate education in the field of psychiatry was received by the research psychoneurological Institute. V. M. - Alexander, together with Dudko Taras and Belokrylov Igor developed a comprehensive program for the treatment of patients with alcohol dependence "sobriety Point".
- In 2011, together with Alexander Sofronov, he developed and published guidelines for teaching doctors basic psychotherapeutic skills to work with Smoking patients. He also wrote a workbook that makes it easier for a smoker to pass the stages of nicotine withdrawal. Conducts trainings aimed at training doctors to work with dependent people.
- Together with Alexander Fedorov, he adapts cognitive behavioral psychotherapy programs aimed at people who are overweight to Russian conditions.
